Once Upon A Fairytale: A Mother Daughter Tea Party

Once Upon A Fairytale: a Mother Daughter Princess Tea returned on Sunday, October 23, 2022. This enchanting event transported our little princess attendees into a whole new world as guests mingled with their favorite fairytale princesses: Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and more. Hosted at The South, this sold out event was a special day for all who participate in it!

While at the event, mothers and daughters shared tea, scones, sandwiches, and sweet treats provided by Fresh Cut Catering. Attendees also had an opportunity to have their photo taken at a 360 degree photo booth provided by Snap Booth Jackson and pose by our Fairytale sign provided by Alpha-lit Jackson. A wonderful performance was put on at the beginning of each tea time by Ballet Magnificat.

At our boutique, the little princesses got a royal makeover prior to the start of the event at The Fairytale Boutique. Thank you to all of our stylist volunteers!

The original beneficiary of Once Upon a Fairytale was Eagle’s Nest International, a Children’s Home in Sololá, Guatemala. Our founder, Jenny Blount continues to pursue her vision of providing education and support to children in need—now just closer to home. This year's beneficiary was our Mission First Early Learning Center. The goal of our 2022 Once Upon A Fairytale event is to raise enough money to send a class of students to school for the entire school year!

This year’s Fairytale Princess Tea was not only a fun and unique event, but an event that will continue to make a difference in the lives of our students as our Early Learning Center students as class sizes continue to grow year after year.

Thank you to all of our sponsors: Fresh Cut Catering, Snap Booth Jackson, Molly Gee and Company, Alpha-lit Jackson, As You Wish, Milling Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Fortenberry and Dr. Holland Pediatric Dentistry, Make It Pop, The Smocking Place, and The Torquoise Chandelier. Thank you also to our Mission First staff, volunteers, and the mothers and daughters who attended for making this event a success!
