2017 Parent's Christmas Store
Our 2017 Parents Christmas Store has come and gone but we wanted to take time to express our gratitude to those who helped make that day possible. We are thankful for those who gave of their finances and/or their time to minister to the families we serve. Our Parents Christmas Store is a time where the staff of Mission First and numerous volunteers come around the families we serve to encourage them, while allowing the parents an opportunity to provide gifts for their children. Mission First staff members were able to pray over individual families as they entered our gym – prayers of provision, healing, and thanksgiving.
Pajamas were one of the gifts parents were able to get for their children. Each set of pjs had the student's individual name on the box.
Parents were able to choose recreational toys as well as educational toys as part of our Christmas Store.
Winter coats were divided up by sizes for our students to receive Christmas morning. These were especially useful throughout the cold winter temperatures.
We are grateful for our volunteers who wrapped gifts while parents enjoyed a time of refreshments and Christmas music.
As 2018 gets underway, we ask that you pray how the Lord might use you in one of our areas of ministry on the campuses of Mission First.
